Our Experience

After working for eight years as a farm manager and consultant in Kenya and later Botswana, Anthony and wife Tabitha founded Agrifronts’ parent company Consortium Services in 2008. Consortium Services specialized in agricultural consultancy and research in East and Southern Africa while based in Botswana. From our experience and passion for agriculture we have realized that most farmers especially small scale farmers are facing a myriad of challenges ranging from declining land sizes and soil quality to marketing. In other words, the farmers are finding it difficult to contend with the changing productivity, financial, economic, social and erratic weather challenges. At the same time, investors especially the growing middle income group have resources that would transform agriculture if they were tapped.

Agrifronts has been established to incorporate the consultancy and research experience in East and Southern Africa. This has led to development of innovative and technologically infused agribusiness solutions to farmers that also provide investment opportunities to non-farmers. The focus is on agricultural management which is constantly being identified as one of the challenges affecting agriculture in sub-Sahara Africa.
